Lido di Jesolo and its surroundings, month by month
There is a time for everything, and whoever truly knows the coast between Jesolo and Venice knows that this age-old truth renews itself every year, month after month. There isn't just one summer: there are eight, one for each month from April to November, and each has its own character, its own rhythm, its own light that deserves to be lived in, not just passed through. The property is located in the Piazza Torino area, just 100 metres from the beach at Lido di Jesolo, but the surroundings offer far more than sand: centuries-old festivals that repeat each year, produce that the land gives back in its own time, a lagoon that holds Venice just a few kilometres away. Here, month by month, is what this area has to offer — especially outside the busiest months.
Things to do
- Relaxing on the beach and by the pool
- Cycling excursions along the coast
- A day at Caribe Bay water park
- A day trip to Venice
- Shopping and dining along the seafront

To reach Venice and other destinations you can use public transport (urban and suburban buses, vaporetti) run by ACTV, or drive. If you plan to move around the lagoon often, it's worth looking into the Carta Venezia / Venezia Unica, the card that gives access to discounted rates on transport and city services.

✨ Moments not to miss
🌸 April
April is the month of renewal, not of the crowds: a suspended time when nature comes back to life before the season takes off, which is exactly why it deserves attention. Those who choose to come now are really choosing a form of freedom — beaches still nearly empty, lighter rates, a pace that lets you take things in instead of being swept along by them.

🥬 Product of the month: Veneto white asparagus, the star of village festivals between late April and May.
Tip: April is one of the most convenient months to book, with the advantage of finding Venice and Jesolo free of the high-season crowds.
🌷 May
May lengthens the days and, with them, the time available to truly live: it's no coincidence that this is the month when Venice symbolically renews its pact with the sea, a gesture that reminds us how, to live well, we too must recognise a bond greater than ourselves. It's the month when the lagoon feels most alive, before summer makes it merely crowded.

🥗 Product of the month: still asparagus, along with the first Veneto strawberries.
Tip: May combines ideal weather, unmissable events on the lagoon and lower rates than summer — perfect for a longer stay.
☀️ June
June is a threshold, not yet full summer: the fine season has arrived, but hasn't yet given way to the chaos of high summer. It's therefore the clearest moment to discover the lagoon, when you can still look at it instead of simply crossing it along with everyone else.

🍒 Product of the month: Veneto cherries, one of the fruits symbolising the start of summer.
Tip: June evenings are ideal for a stroll along the seafront among the evening markets, before heading back to the 100 metres that separate the apartment from the beach.
🎆 July
July is the beating heart of summer, the month when time seems to slow down precisely because everything around it speeds up. It's also the month when Venice, for centuries, has paused to remember: the Feast of the Redeemer began as a promise made amid the suffering of an epidemic, and over time it became a festival of light — a way of saying that even from suffering a shared form of beauty can be born.
🎇 Feast of the Redeemer (July 18-19, 2026): celebrated every year on the Saturday before the third Sunday of July. On Saturday night, over 6,000 fireworks light up the Bacino di San Marco; on Sunday, traditional regattas take place in the Giudecca canal. 🔁 Every year official website ↗

🍉 Product of the month: watermelon and melon, the classic beach snack.
Tip: July is peak season — anyone planning to attend the Redentore should book well ahead, both accommodation and transport to Venice.
🕶️ August
August is the month of fullness, when life shows itself without holding back: the heat, the crowds, the long evenings aren't a flaw of the season but its truest nature. And it's precisely while the coast lives its peak that Venice, not far away, quietly prepares for its most international appointment.

🎭 The Arena di Verona Opera Festival continues (through September 12). 🎬 Late August: preparations are also under way for the Venice Film Festival, which opens in the first days of September (see below).
🍑 Product of the month: peaches and plums from the Veneto, at the peak of ripeness.
Tip: August needs to be booked well in advance — it's the most in-demand month of the year.
🎬 September
September is perhaps the wisest month of the year: it keeps the warmth of August but loses its rush, giving back the chance to enjoy things more slowly. It's no surprise that Venice hosts its two most prestigious events right now — film and history parading on water — as if to show that even a season's maturity has a splendour that youth doesn't know.

🎭 The Arena di Verona Opera Festival concludes on September 12.
🍇 Product of the month: the grape harvest — between mid-September and early October, Glera grapes for Prosecco are picked on the hills of the Veneto.
Tip: September is the perfect month for those seeking a sea still warm combined with major cultural events — and rates are already starting to drop from August's peak.
🍂 October
October teaches a lesson that holds true beyond the calendar: beauty doesn't end when summer does, it simply changes shape. The light turns more golden and slanting, the air clearer, and the land gives back, with its chestnuts and its new wine, the fruits of patient work begun months earlier.
🌰 Festa dei Marroni di Combai (Chestnut Festival) (October 10 - November 2, 2026, weekends): a historic festival dedicated to the Marrone di Combai IGP chestnut, with sweets, honey, jams, chestnut ice cream and woodland walks. 📍 Combai di Miane (TV) — 🔁 Every year official website ↗

🏖️ The sand sculpture exhibition at Piazza Brescia remains open until October 4. 🖼️ The Biennale Arte 2026 continues (through November 22).
🍷 Product of the month: new Prosecco, freshly made, and the first roasted chestnuts.
Tip: October is ideal for a quieter holiday, perhaps combining a few days at the seaside with a food-and-wine trip through the Prosecco hills.
🕯️ November
November is the month of withdrawal, in the most literal sense of the word: nature retreats and invites us to do the same. It's not a lesser month, but a different one, in which the silence of the off-season beach and the intimate ritual of the Salute in Venice offer an experience that summer crowds can't give — that of feeling, for a moment, not tourists but guests.
⛪ Festa della Madonna della Salute (November 21): a few days beforehand, the characteristic votive bridge of boats is set up across the Grand Canal, linking Santa Maria del Giglio to the Basilica della Salute — crossing it on foot is a unique experience, open to everyone. 📍 Venice — 🔁 Every year official website ↗

🖼️ Last days to visit the Biennale Arte 2026, which closes on November 22.
🥗 Product of the month: late-season Treviso red radicchio IGP, whose harvest begins right in November — excellent grilled or in risottos.
Tip: November is the right month for an off-season getaway, pairing Jesolo's deserted beach with a day in Venice lived like a local, between the votive bridge and radicchio cicchetti.
